This project showcases a full roof replacement completed in Katy, Texas, in November. The home was originally suffering from severe roof deterioration, including rotted decking and damaged underlayment that compromised the structure and allowed moisture to penetrate the interior. During the tear-off phase, our team uncovered multiple areas of weakened wood that required immediate replacement to restore the roof’s integrity.

For the new installation, we used a premium roofing system featuring a TAMKO 30-Year Roof in the color Rustic Black. This high-performance shingle provides long-lasting protection, enhanced durability, and a clean, modern finish that elevates the overall look of the home.

This photo shows a severely damaged section of the roof decking uncovered during the tear-off phase. The wood beneath the old shingles was rotted and deteriorated, compromising the structure and allowing moisture to penetrate the home.

Our team at MP PRO ROOFING & REMODELING removed all damaged materials, replaced the affected decking with new, solid boards, and restored the roof to a safe and durable condition. This is one of the many critical steps we take to ensure every roof replacement meets the highest quality standards.
